BRANDING | PACKAGING

Ritz Paradise is a sparkling wine brand I created during my internship at E. & J. Gallo, targeting middle-class individuals in their mid-20s to mid-30s who enjoy hosting parties. The brand embodies a bubbly personality with a feminine, youthful tone, aiming to transport people to the Roaring 20s with a contemporary twist, turning 2020 into 1920. Inspired by 1920s slang, the name "Ritz Paradise" combines the elegance of "Ritzy" with the carefree joy of "Paradise," evoking the feeling of attending a modern Gatsby-style party. Deliverables include champagne and sparkling rosé bottle packaging, along with shippers, designed with an Art Deco-inspired palette of blue-green, pink, purple, silver, and gold.

The wine brand produces champagne and sparkling rosé as an additional varietal. The bottles feature art deco geometric style designs on the front labels and art deco feminine illustrations on the front of the necker labels. The necker illustrations are surrounded by a ‘bubble’ frame to represent the sparkling bubbles from sparkling wine. The labels also feature the Ritzy Paradise logos and information

about the tasting notes of the sparkling wines.

Shippers are produced to hold the wine bottles. The shippers contain the Ritz Paradise logos, artwork from the sparkling wine labels, and the feminine artwork featured on the bottle neckers.

During my time as a Creative Services Intern at E. & J. Gallo Winery, I worked on a variety of projects for major wine brands such as Alamos Wines, Apothic Wines, Barefoot Wine, and La Marca Prosecco. The projects focused on branding, packaging, point of sale design, shopper marketing design, and digital design. Throughout my experience, I developed strong collaboration skills from working with creative directors, senior designers, and clients along with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

Due to Non-Disclosure Agreements, I'm unable to share details about the projects on my portfolio, but if you would like to learn more about my experience, please feel free to contact me.
